West Star Herefords breed for red pigmentation around the eyes. Also, strong feet and legs are incredibly important in our herd, as our ranch is located in rocky & hilly terrain. We also breed for strong carcass quality, lighter birthweights, and one of the highest marbling herds in the breed.
